What's Included & What to Expect
When you book your photo shoot at Slow Farm, you gain access to our beautiful natural backdrops (including our fields, woods, and pond area) under the guidance of our friendly staff.
• Natural Venue: We pride ourselves on offering a genuine farm experience. We provide the natural beauty of our fields, pastures, and farm landscape. We do not provide props, backdrops, furniture, or lighting. Your photographer is responsible for bringing any desired props and equipment.
• Guided Access: For your safety and to ensure a smooth experience, a Slow Farm staff member will accompany you and your photographer throughout your session. Please follow all staff safety guidelines.
• Exclusive Areas: Access is limited to designated natural photo areas. For privacy and safety, our private residence and the interior of all farm buildings are strictly off-limits.
• Animal Encounters: We are a working farm with active livestock! Gentle animal encounters are possible and can make for truly unique photos. However, interactions are not guaranteed and depend entirely on the time of day and the animals' behavior. Our staff will facilitate any interactions with animal welfare and your safety as top priorities.
• Timing: To capture the best natural light, all photo sessions must be completed by sunset.
Please note that our packages do not include professional photography services. You are responsible for finding and hiring your own professional photographers. If you would like farm staff to take a crack at taking pics using your phone, we’d be happy to do so, but with no promises of excellence!
