NEW! Body Butter & Mist: “Apricity”
NEW! Body Butter & Mist: “Apricity”
Apricity is one of those words that nobody knows, but we can all relate to: it’s the feeling of the winter sun on your skin.
Inspired by the fleeting yet cherished moments of sunshine during the colder months, our Apricity body butter & mist is a unique infusion of native plants and herbs organically grown on our regenerative farm in North Carolina. Longleaf pine, yarrow, lemon eucalyptus, lavender, and mountain mint mingle harmoniously, their light fragrance reminiscent of a crisp winter's day warmed by the sun's rays.
The body butter combines our farm-grown botanicals with organic US-grown jojoba oil, ethically produced raw shea butter from Fair Tale women's cooperative, certified fair trade coconut oil, organic beeswax, and locally grown and processed North Carolina sunflower oil. Lovingly crafted in small batches, ensuring the highest quality and freshness. Comes in a 2oz reusable glass jar.
Accompanying the body butter is the Apricity l’eau botanique is a gorgeously pure hydrosol of this signature blend of herbs. L’eau botanique can be used as a pre-moisturizing facial toner, as a beautiful freshener whenever desired, or even as a room or linen spray. Comes in a 2oz reusable glass misting bottle.
Available in a gift boxed set.

ETHICALLY &
SUSTAINABLY GROWN
We take pride in ethically and sustainably growing our ingredients. Our acres of native goldenrod provide not only healing plant medicine for humans but also abundant habitat for pollinators, spiders, lizards, and ground birds. These resilient plants require minimal care and resources, making them sustainable crops that contribute to a healthier planet.
All of our products are free of palm oil and palm oil derivatives.
HAND HARVESTED
& PROCESSED
We hand-harvest all of the botanicals we use, ensuring we never take more than we can process at a time. The same person who picks the goldenrod also dries it, infuses it into organic oil, and creates a nourishing salve just for you. We produce our goods in small batches to guarantee freshness.
FARMING FORWARD BY
THINKING BACKWARDS
At Slow Farm, we believe in farming forward by thinking backwards. Rather than viewing soil as a means to support farming, we see farming as an opportunity to restore and nourish our soil. We tackle environmental challenges by researching and implementing livestock and plant species that contribute to sustainable solutions.
This slow and sustainable method has allowed us to plant over 400 native herb, fruit, and nut plants on our 47-acre farm, promoting biodiversity and creating a resilient ecosystem that can also nourish our community.Native plants require no fertilizers or irrigation, as they have evolved to thrive in the local environment. This makes them highly sustainable food and wellness resources.
The non-native crops we grow, such as camellia sinensis, tulsi, and rosemary, are xerotolerant, meaning they can grow in hot and dry conditions.
