FARMER’S PICK! Herbal Shea Face Polish
FARMER’S PICK! Herbal Shea Face Polish
A concentrated, soap-free cleansing balm that uses farm-milled herbal grit and raw shea butter to wash away the day without stripping your skin’s natural ecosystem.
The Story: Regenerative Skincare
After 10 years of farming, I’ve learned that you don't create health by stripping the landscape. You create it by feeding the biology that’s already there. Your skin is no different—it is an incredible, over-taxed ecosystem.
Most cleansers act like a "clear-cut," using soaps and astringents to wipe out your natural oils along with the dirt. I wanted a product that respected the biology.
The Herbal Shea Face Polish is a heavy hitter that knows how to be gentle. It contains no soap, no lye, and no harsh surfactants. Instead, it uses the mechanical grit of our farm-grown and farm-milled herbs to exfoliate and clays to pull toxins, while raw shea butter and rejuvenating oils like Sea Buckthorn and Carrot Seed keep your moisture barrier intact. It cleanses without disrupting the peace.
The Ritual: Washing Off The Day
This is a concentrate. It contains no water, so you only need a hazelnut-sized amount.
1. Warm & Melt: Scoop with dry fingers and rub between your hands until it melts into a rich oil.
2. The Scrub:
• For a Deep Reset: Massage onto dry skin.
• For a Gentle Polish: Massage onto wet skin.
3. The Release: Spend 30–60 seconds working it in. Breathe in the Rosemary and Mint. Let the clays cut the redness and the oils smooth fine lines.
4. The Rinse: Splash with warm water until the grit is gone. You will feel a protective, waxy seal left behind—that’s your ecosystem, restored and waterproofed for the night.

ETHICALLY&
SUSTAINABLY GROWN
Our commitment to ethical and sustainable practices is evident in every aspect of our Slow Goods Lip Balm. We start by cultivating hardy herbs in our organically tended, no-till gardens. These resilient plants require minimal care and resources, making them sustainable crops that contribute to a healthier planet.
HAND HARVESTED
& PROCESSED
Each stalk and leaf is carefully hand-harvested, ensuring that only the freshest and highest quality ingredients make their way into our lip balm. We process in micro batches, guaranteeing that you receive a product that is as fresh as can be.
FARMING FORWARD BY
THINKING BACKWARDS
At Slow Farm, we believe in farming forward by thinking backwards. Rather than relying on soil to support our farming, we use farming as a means to restore and regenerate our soil. Our innovative approach involves identifying and addressing environmental challenges through the integration of livestock and plant crops. This slow and sustainable method has allowed us to plant over 400 native herb, fruit, and nut plants on our 47-acre farm, promoting biodiversity and creating a resilient ecosystem.
